Sabah Electricity, established in 1998, is a vertically integrated utility company responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity across Sabah and the Federal Territory of Labuan. The company is jointly owned by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (82.76%) and the State Government of Sabah (17.24%).

As the sole power utility in Sabah, Sabah Electricity plays a vital role in developing and strengthening the region’s electricity infrastructure. The Sabah Grid, spanning 66kV, 132kV, and 275kV networks, interconnects major towns across Sabah and Labuan, ensuring reliable and efficient power delivery.
