DRM provides a quick, safe, and inexpensive way to periodically assess the status of HV breaking contacts

The new Prime 600 will immediately display a DRM graph with the progressive variations of resistance across the circuit breaker’s pole during the open operation. Excessive shortening of the arcing contact is made evident at a first glance, and you can then dig into the details by comparing results from other poles or from previous tests on your computer. Other values like operation time in micro seconds are also taken to evaluate the circuit breaker’s response performance.

No need to invest on an expensive analyzer or to use your most qualified field engineers for such a simple task.
